Men of The Scarlet and Gray Podcast Fiesta in the Desert

Ohio State and Notre Dame are about to face off on New Years in the Fiesta Bowl. Who else better to discuss this match-up than with Tony Gerdeman from theozone.net. We discuss the suspensions, Buckeyes offense, play calling, defense and match-ups we are going to be keeping an eye on.

We also discussed with Tony his book Thrillogy which recaps the last three games of the amazing run to the National Championship last season. It is a must have for Buckeye fans and as we discuss the book you will see there is a theme involved that you really didn’t realize until they started putting the book together

As always we answered #AskMotSaG questions and gave our predictions for the Fiesta Bowl.

The Men of the scarlet and Gray Podcast #2

The gang is finally back together. Jeremiah Sharpe and Chip Minnich help kick off a new season of college football that is right around the corner. We are joined by Mark Cerimele who is a contributor for this site along with doing some side work for the Phil Steele magazine.

This week we discuss possible Big Ten expansion, Our Final Four college football playoff picks, the Buckeye suspensions. Mark gives us some behind the scenes of what its like to put out the college football bible, Phil Steele magazine.

Hope you guys enjoy the show. Have to shake off some rust but great being back in the saddle again. Can’t wait to discuss more Buckeyes football with some Big Ten and other leagues this year.

MotSaG TV Guide

All right, everybody, it’s week two! Time to stop losing to FCS schools and turning in mildly disappointing performances that do not meet all of your fans’ absurd expectations!

Thursday

Sacramento State at Arizona State. Don’t worry about the late kickoff, this game isn’t likely to be on your TV anyway. So why would I include it on a list of games I think you should watch? Well, for starters, there are no other good options tonight, but more importantly, Sacramento State is one of two FCS schools who beat FBS opponents in 2011 and 2012. The other one? North Dakota State, who just beat Kansas State in last weekend’s Dawn of the Living Sisters of the Poor. Working in the Sun Devils’ favor here is the fact that Sac State got shut out by San Jose State last week. (Pac-12 Network, which is a thing I guess)
