The Men of The Scarlet and Gray Podcast #1

MotSaG Podcast

The Men of the Scarlet and Gray Podcast is back. For the first episode Joe Dexter from The Buckeye Battle Cry and I sit down to discuss the recently announced Buckeye football players suspensions. We briefly discuss who needs to step up. Touch also on the “Next Man Up” mantra. We talked about the Big Ten Commissioner coming out and saying there will be no more scheduling of FCS schools starting next season. Big Ten schools needing to schedule one Power Five Conference opponent as well as the conference is moving to play nine conference games.

It was great to try and knock some rust off to get prepared for this upcoming season. I thank Joe so much for his help along with him spending his personal time teaching so much to try making a better product for our audience. We will be taping a show Tuesday night with myself, Jeremiah Sharpe and Chip Minnich as this will officially kick off the MotSag Podcast season. Hope you enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think.

MotSaG Podcast Episode 20

This week Chip and myself had the great opportunity to get to talk with David Mormino to talk about TTUN recent recruiting class. David who can be found on twitter @davidmormino is a proud member of thebighousereport.com and Cohost on @GoBlueRadio. Chip and David discussed about some of the TTUN recruits Jim Harbaugh received for 2015 class plus who has early enrolled for the Wolverines. Naturally the hot topic of Mike Weber was brought up and David didn’t play the homer card and was a true college football fan about the whole situation. It was a great pleasure having him on our show.

The second half of the podcast we had Kevin McGuire who we always love have join our show. Kevin can be found on twitter @KevinonCFB, you can find his work on collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com and no2minutewarning.com. Chip and Kevin discussed the Class that James Franklin has coming in for Penn State next season. Franklin pulled in a Top 15 class plus seems there was a twitter war between PSU and Pitt.

These were two great guests and we are thankful for them taking the time out of their busy schedules to join us. I would suggest checking out there work they are really great at what they do and will help you become extremely smart around your family and friends. Especially the ones from the fans of these teams that think they know eveything but they don’t since they aren’t smart enough to follow smart guys like David and Kevin. Hope you enjoy the show this week.

MotSaG Live Episode #17 – Bowl Mania & The Playoffs

It’s time for Bowl Mania! MotSaG writers Josh, Shannon and Chip along with their special returning guest Kevin McGuire broke down and picked the Big Ten bowl games, the New Year’s bowls and of course made their predictions on the first ever FBS college football playoffs. By the way you can check out Kevin’s work at collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com and follow him on Twitter: @KevinonCFB. They’re a little more optimistic on the Big Ten in their bowl games than Vegas is. Two of the four chose Ohio State as the national champion, while the other two chose Alabama. Also somebody made peace with Tim Beckman. Sort of.

MotSaG Live Episode #16 – The Big Ten Championship & The College Football Playoffs

On our 16th episode we discuss Ohio State’s win over Michigan, pick some conference championship games and of course preview the Buckeyes’ matchup against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game. Added bonus! You also get our live reactions to the announcement of the new college football playoff rankings. Our special guest for this podcast is Andy Coppens, managing editor & founder of MadTownBadgers.com and publisher for Talking Ten. He was a fantastic guest who was informative and entertaining. He too agrees that Urban Meyer not winning the Big Ten Coach of the Year award is bullshit!
