Yes, so I’m sure you’ve noticed and/or heard about that little banner on the top of the Blog Poll now. Pretty cool stuff.

This week, we say good-bye to Auburn, Connecticut (sorry, SYR!), Wisconsin and Oregon and welcome North Carolina, FSU, Northwestern and Pitt.

As you may have heard, the BlogPoll is movin’ on up (to THE top) and will be prominently featured on a real-life Sports Site. I’m sure Brian will post the details on his site, so I’ll leave the particulars to him. But going legit means our ballots have to be in sooner, hence you’re seeing this Monday morning instead of sometime late on Tuesday. Enjoy.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Having already suffered our own personal disappointment two weeks ago, it’s good to have company. Add our optimism to everyone else’s pain and it’s a great feeling.

After looking at some other bloggers polls, it’s obvious we’re a little more bullish on the Buckeyes than just about everyone else. So many answers will be provided this weekend. I’m heading out tomorrow morning for a week of vacation, so I don’t have a lot of time to discuss our preseason BlogPoll ballot, but I will say I hate preseason rankings and I will be throwing mine out after week one and starting over fresh.

Not a lot to say this week. SYR left Virginia off his ballot. Hopefully this was just an oversight. The sportsMonkey omitted Hawaii. Again, maybe an accident?

We are homers, we will rank Ohio State #1 until the cows come home, or they lose. I hear the cows are totally lost and their Garmin is totally busted.
