With two weeks left in the regular season two teams became bowl eligible this past Saturday with two on the bubble fighting to join the group. One more win by Ohio State and they are in the B1G Championship game to face the craziness that is going on for the West. Wisconsin is in the drivers seat but they have to face Minnesota yet who is still a contender.
1. Ohio State (9-1,6-0) The Buckeyes escape out of the cold frozen tundra of Minnesota Saturday with a win. Costly turnovers kept the Golden Gophers hopes alive for an upset but Buckeyes prevail.

2. Michigan State (8-2,5-1) Sparty beat the Terps handily but they are on the outside looking in for another Big Ten Championship game. They need the Buckeyes to lose their next two games to get in.

3. Wisconsin (8-2,5-1) The Badgers had a statement win to take control of the West with a record performance by Melvin Gordon over the Cornhuskers

4. Nebraska (8-2,4-2) The Cornhuskers watched their B1G Championship hope rush by them and are now needing help to get to the title game

5. Minnesota (7-3,4-2) Even with the loss to the Buckeyes the Golden Gophers can make some noise and play their way into the championship game by winning their last two games but they are both on the road.

6. Maryland (6-4,3-3) The Terps need some more wins to get a better bowl selection and this week they face a Wolverines team that is playing for pride now.

7. Iowa (7-3,4-2) The Hawkeyes bounced back from their loss to Minnesota with an easy win over the Fighting Illini and are looking to make some noise to get back into the West race.

8. Penn State (6-4,2-4) The Nittany Lions became bowl eligible Saturday but they had to go outside of the conference to get the win.

9. Rutgers (6-4,2-4) The Scarlet Knights became bowl eligible after snapping their three game losing skid.

10. Michigan (5-5,3-3) Even during a bye week it seems the Maize and Blue can’t stop losing. I’m looking at you Frank Clark who is currently sitting in a cell in Ohio for accusations of domestic violence. Brady Hoke’s squad has to win one of the next two to become bowl eligible and that looks like a tall order.

11. Northwestern (4-6,2-4) The Wildcats pull off the win over the Fighting Irish and still have their eyes set on become bowl eligible, have to win out.

12. Purdue (3-7,1-5) The Boilermakers have no shot at a bowl this season and the injuries have just become to much to over come but look for them to play spoilers down the stretch.

13. Illinois (4-6,1-5) If the Fighting Illini win their last two games of the season they can become bowl eligible and possibly save Tim Beckmans job.

14. Indiana (3-7,0-6) The Hoosiers are fighting to win one conference game this season and that will be a tough task this weekend.
