The Columbus police department on Tuesday said no charges will be filed after an investigation into an alleged assault involving Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde.
The investigation is officially closed, according to a police media release on Tuesday.
This is not to say that Hyde is completely cleared to play though he will still need to talk to Coach Meyer and get reinstated for that to happen.
