Well well well look what we have here. With Friday Night Lights happening this weekend you would expect to get a commitment from a player or 2 but to get one from a guy who wasn’t even there is big time. This newest recruit has quickly become a fan favorite and being a Buckeye since birth really made his connection to the fans special. It just so happens that he fills a spot of need big time as well.

Demetrius Knox is a 6’4″ 290 lbs 4 star Offensive Lineman from Fort Worth, Texas. Knox brings to the OL a lot of speed and athleticism. He was once committed to Texas but decommitted months ago and right away he became a target for OSU and the fans. He has proven to be a guy who can be a leader and will help recruit for OSU. Rivals ranks him a 4 star and the no. 1 OG in the country. 247sports ranks him a 4 star and the no. 135 best recruit in the country. Scout ranks him a 4 star and the no 7 OG in the country. ESPN ranks him a 4 star and the no. 193rd best recruit in the country.
