Last week’s ballot

Dropped Out: Houston (#12), Michigan (#19), California (#21).

Almost there: West Virginia, Houston, Stanford, Boston College

First, I know I keep flip flopping OSU and USC, but I just don’t know what to do. I think beating Cal is probably more impressive than beating Indiana, but maybe not. It’s starting to look like Cal was a paper tiger and just isn’t that good of a team. So this week USC gets the nod over OSU. I just wish someone would beat USC and does us Buckeye fans all a favor.

I want to drop Iowa for struggling with Arkansas State, but I’m not sure I can drop them below teams that have one loss.

Cincinnati continues to be disrespected by me. Until they beat someone, the disrespecting will continue.

Did I drop Oklahoma too much? Because that felt good.

Other than that, what else did I screw up?

Comments

  1. not too many problems this week….

Although Miami should be higher only loss is to VT and VT only loss to Alabama so those 2 teams should be higher I think…..

Miami should be higher than oklahoma state who lost to houston who lost to UTEP lol

Iowa is still way to high.

Kansas shouldnt be ranked just because thier football team and basketball team fought each other in a campus brawl lol.

I want to play CincinNasty in a bowl game so badly I can taste skyline chili.

  2. Don’t be discouraged buckeye fans with Iowa being ranked 6th. Iowa will lose at Wisconsin and in Columbus. Then they will probably lose one more. I’m going with 9-3. Iowa’s offense is average at best.

    Sincerely,
Your friendly neighborhood Iowa hating, Penn State fan from PA., now living in Ohio.

  3. Florida Buckeye says

For the life of me, I cannot see how Oklahoma can be ranked at all. Seriously, with a 2-2 record, and their only wins against nobodies, how do they even rate a consideration? Unless these poles are just extensions of last year’s, then they cannot be ranked.

  4. @SYR – I think you’re right, Miami should be higher than Okie State. I’ll make that change. If you think Iowa is too high, tell me who should be higher (and why).

@mr green – I’m sure as a PS fan that watching Iowa lose will be sweet. The Buckeyes will make sure that happens.

@Florida Buckeye – Good point about Oklahoma. They’re sitting there because it’s who they are. Losing to Miami and BYU should banish them off the charts completely. Who do you think I should replace them with? I’m thinking West Virginia. There shouldn’t be any 2-loss teams at this point.
