Stiff Arm of the Week

Ain’t no party like a Stiff Arm Party.

  1. I don’t remember that stiff arm… was that the one that didn’t knock down the defender? I call that one the Stiff Arm of Mercy.

I liked his stiff arm on his 55 yard TD run.

the one on the 55 yard td run was just downright dirty…anybody have a capture on that one?

  3. It’s not the one on the 55 yard TD run, but this picture is a thing of beauty. There’s no question in my mind he’s turning pro after this year.

dammnit…flip that was background worthy but crappy quality..haha..thanks for the effort though

  6. Lemmon, good point. I’d imagine that DB’s everywhere, (or at least in the Big Ten) will have relieved sighs when Beanie goes Pro; now they’ll have to contend with Pryor’s S/A’s for a while longer.

Maybe Dick Tressel can make stiff-arming part of the running back training. I think stiff-arms are like tailbacks in the Big-10; you need a ‘pair and a spare’.

    love love love it

  8. What happened to the “stiff arm of justice” from Chris “Beanie Baby” Wells against Penn State?

  9. @flipbuckeye – nice find, I’m still looking for a high-res of that bad boy.

@Lemmon – that is a thing of beauty. We may only have the SAoJ for a few more games, but we’ve got Pryor’s SAoRighteousness for a long time. It’s only going to get better and stronger.

@mr green – if you’re new here, you probably haven’t noticed that we lack enthusiasm after losses. Things like SAoW seem unnecessary after a loss.
