Eddie just exudes class. When I was a student at tOSU, I was at the Mickey-Dees on High Street when he walked in with one of his little boys (this was 7 or 8 years ago, when he was at the top of his game) and the restaurant was rather empty. While some of the workers asked for autographs, I decided not to bother him, which I sort of regret now. He was very accommodating and fulfilled all the requests. I was in awe and I couldn’t stop staring. His arms and legs looked like they were chiseled out of a slab of granite. I stood in amazement of that physique (is there something wrong with me?!) but the one thing that stuck with me was how little his head was. I don’t know why. After reading that article, though, I can say he really does have a little head. Figuratively and literally.

No surprise here, but Appalachian State gear is rather popular around Central Ohio.
Brandon Saine has a bright future as a Buckeye. Interesting side note: I learned from the article that I have something in common with Saine: “He is the same guy he was last week, and that’s one of the neat things about him.” Awesome! I’m the same guy I was last week, too! I never really thought it was one of the neat things about me, but hey, I’ll take what I can get.
Look for Beanie to bounce back big-time. 175 yards+. You heard it here first.
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise — Tressel was rooting for Michigan on that fateful Saturday.

The day after the m*ch*g*n game last year, I was in EBGames, standing in line, when I realized the person in front of me was Troy Smith. My first impulse was to ask for an autograph, but then I realized that that would draw attention and sunday is one of the only days football players can relax. I think the memory of standing a foot away from Troy in public is good enough.
Speaking of “Appalachian State gear is rather popular” I have seen pictures of their students wearing a “michigan who” t-shirts. I have looked via internet for these shirts. Does anyone have any idea where i can get one. I missed out getting the “michigan blows” shirts that were sold years ago (the one where brutus is getting serviced by a michigan cheerleader).
I was at Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe last summer with a couple of friends, the place is dead and we’re just about the only ones in there. Who comes in and sits at the table right next to ours? Jim Tressel. He was with his daughter, and the rest of the family ended up showing up, including a grandpa.
I wanted so bad just go go up there and tell him I was a big fan of his work, but I felt bad because he was out with his family.
Zach – If you walk down Lane on gameday, there are stands where you can buy those Michigan Blows shirts every week, I wouldn’t worry about missing out on those.
As for the ASU stuff, if you call their bookstore and pretend to be just a student, they can sell it to you, if they have it in stock. The key is not to tip them off that you’re from “OSU.” It was in an ESPN article.
