Ohio State WBB: Buckeyes Clobber First In-State Foe(Exhibition) Urbana

The Buckeyes will face four in-state teams in the early goings of the season which should prove to be some pretty good basketball down the road against UC, Ohio and kent State. Urbana came to Value City Arena on Sunday so that Kevin McGuffs women could try out their top 5 recruiting classes frosh to see how things will mesh.

The early results are in and those frosh combined for 90 of the 131 points scored in the affair. Jacy Sheldon and Kierstan Bell led the team with 25 points apiece while Kaelynn Satterfield added 22 points.

Aaliyah Patty had the lone double-double in the game with 10 points and 10 rebounds and soph Dorka Juhasz scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Janai Crooms chipped-in with 14 points and eight assists.

The Buckeyes will open the regular season next Sunday vs. Valparaiso, This will be just the second meeting all time between. The game will tip at 2 p.m. and will be played at Wittenberg University in Springfield as a part of the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
