Ohio State Lands A Huge Recruit Over PSU

Since the day that James Franklin took the job at Penn State recruiting became a fight for Urban Meyer in areas that OSU was finally making inroads into PA and the Eastern Seaboard. PSU landed a few commits that OSU was chasing. Then OSU landed some that PSU wanted. The battle has just begun for these 2 powerhouse recruiters. Tonight though Urban Meyer and OSU landed a haymaker maybe not a knock out but for sure one that will keep PSU down for an 8 count at least.

Matthew Burrell is a 6’5″ 302 lbs 4 star OT from Woodbridge, Virginia. Matthew is a consensus Top 100 player in the country and one of the most sought after OLmen by some of the biggest schools. This really though came down to OSU vs PSU and the Buckeyes won. Matthew is a tough and strong OT with a nasty side. He is the kind of player who can come in and help OSU right away. He will help recruit the rest of the 2015 class as well and is very vocal on Twitter and will be a fan favorite for sure.

We will have more on this young man in the coming days in the meantime soak up yet another win over PSU this year.

  1. Nice to see the big fella in the fold. Warriner is going to turn him into a road grader.
