Cornerback Najee Murray was dismissed from the Ohio State football team this morning. It is reported that Najee was kicked off due to violation of team rules. Najee was going to be a sophomore this season and was looking to be a solid contributor and even possibly going to get the starting spot alongside Doran Grant while Roby is out.
Last year Najee was one of the best players on special teams and a huge part of our kickoff coverage unit for the first six games until he got injured and tore his acl. He accounted for three solo tackles last season.
What team rule
It has not been released yet of what specific violation he committed, were now waiting on osu spokesman to give a bit more clarity on the situation.
