   Can’t remember an OSU QB throwing a better ball.

   I remember going to the OSU spring game in 2003, seeing Smith throw the ball and thinking someday he could win a Heisman. Actually told a friend that at the game.

   It wasn’t always pretty for him. I also remember him returning kicks and playing tailback one game.

   It took him a while to put it all together. Sounds like our current QB just a little.

   I think Joe Germaine was the best thrower in OSU history. He sould hit a fly from 60 yards out in stride.
