I’ll defend el Kaiser, Charlie. Because USC lost to unranked Washington, then struggled mightily against Washington St., only punching in three short drives set up by the defense and special teams and not coming within two TDs of the point spread.

Meanwhile, OSU’s posted two shutouts against teams that were better than USC’s opponents.

In the past month, OSU has improved and USC has regressed significantly.
